A Long Sip Away
- coffeetime

Some memories don’t knock—they just drift in, like the scent of alluring coffee on a cool calm morning.
I try to sit often with a cup in my hands, the world hushed around me, my coffee goes a little cold sometimes, which I don’t mind. I do not really drink for the taste but just the simplicity of the moment and peace and comfort it brings.
I like to drink for the simple things. For the silence. For the reflection I need during those specific times.
Funny how healing and growth do not always arrive with fireworks. Sometimes, it’s just a breath. A thought. A single, slow sip that brings you closer to the part of yourself you thought you’d lost.
Not everything needs fixing. Some things just need time—and maybe a little warmth.
And in those simple pauses, I realize… I’m only ever a long sip away from coming home to myself.
What does a daily coffee mean to you?
