An Update with Spooky Sips!

Remember my post from the beginning of the month? Well I hope you did because here is my spooky journey of coffee creation fun for Halloween treats and drinks!

Me and my husband created Jack-O-Lantern Latte’s and Cold Witches Brew. We were going to attempt a Poison Apple Coffee, but it is the same thing as a Cinnamon Apple Coffee so expect to hear about that next month for a fall autumn treat! Also, a Coffee & Story Time follower shared about a Pumpkin Crunch Cold Brew with Sweet Cinnamon Foam which sounds more like an autumn coffee than Halloween, so we are looking forward to making that in November as well!

Even though this was not specifically coffee alone, I wanted to share that I was able to make a black widow dark chocolate cupcake that included coffee as an ingredient, but you’ll have to read more about that in the Octo”BER” blog!

I believe the Jack-O-Lantern Latte was the best. Had an even balance of coffee and pumpkin taste while being able to determine what it was. The Cold Witches Brew tasted watered down, but we did make our own Cold Brew, so I am thinking that was too much water on top of the water it called for.

The coffee themselves was not bad overall. I definitely need to up my coffee creating game because sometimes no matter the flavoring the coffee’s still taste like coffee. Ultimately, I enjoy trying any new coffee and doing what I can to share those experiences and recipes with you!
