Good morning Coffee & Storytime readers! Did you check off any of those bucket list items for October? I sure hope so because I know I did!

I snuggled up in my new favorite holiday blanket for Halloween along with cozy comfy pillows. I did not necessarily try a new autumn drink but put a spin on it for trying and creating new Halloween coffee drinks which I shared about those on Halloween (I hope you didn’t miss it!). Not only coffee drinks but we made some treats for Halloween as well to enjoy for family gatherings such as Monster Oreo Bites, Dark Chocolate Velvet Cupcakes, and Halloween Pumpkin Cupcakes. If you would like to try some for yourself here are the recipes!
Monster Oreo Bites
36 oreos (crushed)
8 oz cream cheese
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Mix it all together then round into balls and slightly refrigerate.
While they are cold and hardening choose your melting chocolate of choice and color and then roll your bites in it and add candy eyeballs or Halloween sprinkles if you would like!

There were some new things I got to try out during this month that was not initially on my Octo”BER” bucket list that I am sharing with you anyways!
I found some spooky new instrumental videos I was able to play often in the background at home to create that whole Halloween Ambience within our spooky decorated home!
Last but not least I do enjoy painting my nails here and there and usually I paint my toes where they cannot be seen. Not just that but it seems like the polish does not chip off as easily. When I get around to painting my fingernails it never lasts anyways. This year we found some cheap Holiday Festive stickers to use during Halloween and luckily enough found more for other holidays throughout the whole year. This for one is something I am looking forward to this self-care pedicures monthly. Even if no one can see them but myself. Also if you do not mind the toe picture I am sharing it now!
But as another month ends a new one begins and as November makes its way here check out what will be on that bucket list for the upcoming month:
- Support a small business by shopping there instead
- Try a new hobby
- Make a cozy autumn playlist
- Help rake your neighbors leaves or your own
- Bake a fall treat for others
- Make a homemade gift
- Play a board game
- Write a gratitude of thanks list
- Try a new pumpkin recipe
- Donate the clothes you no longer wear
- Write someone a gratitude note
- Watch a thanksgiving themed TV episode or movie
I love a good fall playlist. Some of my favorite include the Jazz Hop Café instrumental mix https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPz_WPIUZ50 or an acoustic indie playlist such as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZuSTDk8bORE. If you check out these two or something similar please share them with us so we can all enjoy them!
I would not mind trying a pumpkin recipe or sorts and I have already saved several, especially if it came to flavoring my coffee with it. I love a gratitude list and can take it a step further dedicating one or some to those I care about. Also, each day this month of November we will be taking time of reflection to meditate on gratitude and thankfulness so continue to follow along with Coffee & Story Time to take part yourself!
After sharing a little bit of thoughts from myself, tell me, what would be a great fall flick you recommend or something you could add to this fall bucket list we would not want to miss out on trying!
